Overall Guidelines
- The research paper must be original and must not have been published in any form before submission to this conference. If the paper is in the process of consideration for publication in other journals, the author must disclose in writing all pertinent information regarding the status of the paper (initial submission, under peer review, for final revision) and the target date of release of the published output. The research paper must not have been presented to any local, national and international conference.
- Must be in English only.
- Must have a minimum of three or more keywords for indexing purposes.
- Any abstract/paper that does not conform to the guidelines will be returned to the owner for compliance.
- Aside from the Conference Registration Form, presenters (oral competing; oral non-competing; poster) must fill-out the Online Submission Form.
Guidelines for Oral Competing and Non-Competing Presentations
- FORMAT. The presenter has the option of LIVE presentation but a recorded presentation is REQUIRED for any unforeseen intermittent internet connection and to ensure the smooth flow of the session.
- VIDEO RESOLUTION. Video resolution should be at least 720p in mp4 format (1080p, 2k or 4k would be better).
- RECORDING DEVICE. Cellphone can be used for recording as long as the resolution is at least 720p. DSLR is also an option for video recording.
- ORIENTATION. Orientation must be in landscape.
- HEAD ROOM. There must be a proper head room, half body shot.
- BACKGROUND. The background must be free from any possible distraction (pets, children, etc).
- LIGHTING. The location must have good lighting.
- VIDEO STABILITY. The video must be stable (use tripod or put the camera/phone on a stable location).
- AUDIO. Audio must be clear with no background noise. Cellphone mic is acceptable as long as there is no background noise. To ensure the audio quality, you can use your mobile phone headset with mic.
- SUBMISSION DEADLINE. Please submit a RECORDED video presentation by 21 April 2021.

Guidelines for Preparing and Submitting Electronic Posters (E-posters)
- SIZE. Each poster should be set in a 18” (W) x 24” (H) (46 cm x 60 cm) with minimum resolution of 400 to accommodate bigger screen viewing.
- FILE TYPE. Portable Graphics Format (PNG).
- YOUR INFORMATION. The top of the Poster should display, in the lettering: Bold, the following information: Title of your Paper, Name(s) of the Author(s) and Affiliation(s).
- TEXT LETTERING. In typesetting the text, choose a simple typeface. Use upper and lower case standard letters. Text should be readable even when zoomed and not pixelated. Make sure there is enough contrast between the color of the text and the poster’s background.
- CONTENT. Make sure that the specific sections (such as the background, methods, results, and conclusions) are easy to locate in the poster.
- IMAGES AND ILLUSTRATIONS. Images and illustrations are the most important part of the poster and will attract the most attention. Colorful charts and graphs are the easiest to read. Explanatory illustrations should be used instead of text whenever possible.
- SUBMISSION OF PNG ELECTRONIC POSTERS. The electronic poster must be attached on the Registration Form or before 20 April 2021.
- RELEASE OF THE POSTER. All the posters will be uploaded to the REPSS official website by the conference technical support. In order to transfer the copyright release of your E-Poster to REPSS, you are required to complete the copyright waiver form which is included in the Online Presenter’s Form.
